I was told recently (given homework by my therapist actually) that I need to do something social, once a week for fun.
I decided to sign up for a Belly Dancing class at a local place, with local womans classes. My first class was today, and while I probably was terrible, I had a great time.
I had a horrible afternoon, so I didn't expect to be able to focus and enjoy it. But I can't wait til next week. I began to appreciate me and my imperfect body for what it is..
add to that this great blog my sister posted for me today, and it's been a great eye opening day.
